We thank you for honoring and bearing witness to this amazing moment in Liberia’s history. And we look forward to sharing our talents with you on Tuesday at the U.S. Embassy Monrovia, Liberia. We could imagine no better way to launch the release of the YES Academy Liberia EP which drops on all major platforms on that day as well!

Join us in extending a warm welcome to U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield, who is leading the U.S. delegation to the inauguration of President-elect Joseph N. Boakai.

Ambassador Thomas-Greenfield first came to Liberia as a graduate student and returned 30 years later as the first woman to serve as U.S. Ambassador. This is a homecoming like no other!

One of our main goals for this program was to write and record new music that addressed topics and themes of upmost importance to the program participants. We are proud to say that collectively we wrote and recorded six amazing songs that were inspired by this unique historical moment in the history of including the recent peaceful presidential election cycle. All original music and lyrics developed by these amazing artists and guided by a killer faculty. The songs are currently being mixed and mastered and will be released in January 2024 to coincide with the Liberian presidential inauguration!

This whole-group session highlighted the experience of our amazingly experienced and talented faculty from the United States. Kaila Mullady Kristofer Hill and Fabian Farbeon Saucedo shared a bit about their artistic journeys and individual purposes. Finally, the crew shared their own artistic missions with each other, laying the foundation for future lessons on the music industry and cultural entrepreneurship.
