President Charles G. Taylor Files Lawsuit
Over government refusal to pay his pension benefits as a former Head of State, President Taylor has filed a lawsuit against the Government of Liberia through the ECOWAS Community Court of Justice.
As per his complaint, he acknowledged that the Government of Liberia action is against his human rights; the right to freedom from discrimination, equal protection of the law, right to dignity, fair hearing, and property as is guaranteed under Article 2, 3, 4, 7, and 14 of the African Charter on Human and Peoples; Rights.
Despite the havoc he caused Liberia and Liberians, he still deserves his pension benefits for serving as a President, don't you think so?
