Chilla and Queen V, we will not waste our precious time blocklisting you guys because both of you are irrelevant to this industry right now, we are here collaborating with investors by bringing out events and programs to recognize you guys contribution to this industry in the past all you do is to step up on stage to insult and assault DJs and promoters.

I can see ur frustration, you guys didn’t make use of your prime properly, this industry is moving so fast right now that you guys can’t understand or catch up with.

By insulting and assaulting DJs and promoters will not go unnoticed, let me tell you guys by insulting and assaulting DJs and promoters will not bring you guys back to be relevant, now your attitude up stage at the just end 2 days Hipco day event sending a very bad image of both of you on social media, you are not trending for a better reasons instead.

Moving forward, I have asked all DJs not to deejay for both Chila and Queen V on any event throughout the length and birth of Liberia, let them hire a personal DJ to take along with them on any event they’re hired for to performed, any DJ that is hire to an event please make sure as soon as it’s time for Chila and Queen V to perform move from behind the equipment let them send their own dj to deejay their performance period.

And lastly, for you DJs that are defending Chila and Queen V on social media for insulting and assaulting your colleagues is insane.

Now, this is what happened, how will you be defending an artist who walk up stage without proper communication with the DJ by saying the dj should have known better, only because it wasn’t you behind that deck.

She didn’t tell the dj she was to perform with Chila later up stage she then called Chila up stage so they could perform a song of which wasn’t cue in her performance, is that what you are defending the artist against your colleagues?

Togetherness is key, if we are to succeed, it should be touch one you touched all. Remember tomorrow it might be you behind that deck! Same action will be taken.

Together, we are stronger
LDA wins!

Thanks a lot SOK for Capturing my advice to the newly appointed Entertainment Ambassador Kobazzie in meeting with the leaders of the creative sectors!

The level of disunity that is causing fear of government investing in this lucrative creative sector!

Let’s stop putting individual interest over organizational interest!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

From: Liberia DJs Association (LDA)

Date: February 19, 2026

Location: Prime Building, Upper Benson Street. Monrovia, Liberia

The Liberia DJs Association wishes to publicly congratulate the Musician Union of Liberia (MULIB) for successfully securing a headquarters through the efforts of Hon. DJ Blue, Representative of District #17, Montserrado County. While we acknowledge that the Union continues to navigate internal leadership disagreements between its interim committee and elected officers, we still commend any effort that strengthens Liberia’s music industry infrastructure.

However, it is deeply disappointing that Hon. DJ Blue—a man whose public prominence was built from the DJ profession—has intentionally turned his back on the Liberia DJs Association, an association in which he proudly carries the title “DJ” and holds honorary membership. Despite numerous outreach attempts for workshops, mentorship opportunities, and basic institutional support, Hon. DJ Blue has repeatedly refused to assist the Association for reasons best known to himself.

We wish to remind Hon. DJ Blue that when he reached out to the Association to organize a DJ Battle in District #17 as a way to engage the youth and entertainment community, the Liberia DJs Association honored that request and delivered successfully. Furthermore, individual DJs within his district mobilized in good faith to support his campaign efforts, spreading his message and contributing to his visibility. Today, this same Association has been ignored, overlooked, and abandoned by Hon. DJ Blue.

Let it be clear: while Hon. DJ Blue may feel justified in his decision to distance himself from the Association, the Liberia DJs Association remains committed to its mission of building capacity, protecting the welfare of DJs, and advancing Liberia’s entertainment sector. The Association is here to stay, and in time, even those who walk away today may once again seek its partnership. We trust the process and remain steadfast in our purpose.

All we can say is this: thank you for the abandonment, Hon. Blue. The Association will continue to grow—with or without your support.

Signed:
