Man Killed by Lightning Strike in Ganta City
A man identified as David Tako has reportedly died after being struck by lightning in the New Wuo Town community of Ganta City, Nimba County.
The incident occurred on Thursday, June 4, 2026, during a heavy rainstorm. According to eyewitnesses, David was inside his house when a thunderstorm hit the area. Residents said they rushed to the scene after hearing a loud strike and discovered him dead.
Witnesses further reported that a chicken was also found dead at the scene. The incident has left residents shocked and mourning the sudden loss of life.
