The Culture of Hiphop is new trend that prevaild in Srilanka in the later part of the year 2009 with the out burst of this dance style through the Derana City of dance competetion. The introduction of this genre of dance was mainly done by The Royal Warriors dance crew in this competetion. prior to this event only a mix of latin and ballroom western dances. The victory of Royal Warriors at this

competetion gave Hiphop a new face and helped this dance genre take it's roots in the Srilankan society. This team has drastically helped the hiphop culture to embed itself in Srilanka through holding competetion and organizing dance workshops with the help of foreign well recognize dancers.. To us Hiphop has become our life and the blood that runs through our veins. And in it we strive to be the best, and to inspire those who are watching us and those who are yet to follow this beautiful art.
