ඓතිහාසික අලුවිහාර පුදබිම.☸️🇱🇰🪷
අලුවිහාරේ පර්වත විහාරය ශ්රී ලංකාවේ මාතලේ දිස්ත්රික්කයේ අලුවිහාරේ පිහිටි පූජනීය බෞද්ධ විහාරස්ථානයකි. කඳුවලින් වට වූ අලුවිහාර ලෙන් විහාරය මාතලේ - දඹුල්ල මාර්ගයේ මහනුවර සිට කිලෝමීටර් 30 ක් උතුරින් පිහිටා ඇත. අලුවිහාරේ පර්වත විහාරයේ ඉතිහාසය ක්රි.පූ. 3 වැනි සියවසේ දේවානම්පියතිස්ස රජ දවස දක්වා දිව යයි. රජුගේ පාලන සමයේදී බුදුදහම මෙරටට හඳුන්වා දීමෙන් පසු රජු විසින් චෛත්යය කරවා, බෝ අංකුරය රෝපණය කර, විහාරස්ථානය ආරම්භ කළ බව විශ්වාස කෙරේ.
🪷අලු විහාරය මෙතරම් සුවිශේෂී වන්නේ එතෙක් කටවහරින් පැවතගෙන ආ ත්රිපිටක ධර්මය පුස්කොළපොත් වල ලියා ත්රිපිටකය ග්රන්තාරූඞ කිරීමත් හතරවන ථෙරවාදී ධර්ම සංගායනාව පැවැත්වීමත් මෙහි සිදු කිරීමත් නිසාය.

The Aluvihare Rock Temple is a sacred Buddhist temple located in Aluvihare, Matale District of Sri Lanka. Surrounded by hills, the Aluvihara cave temple is situated 30 km north of Kandy on the Matale-Dambulla road. The history of Aluvihare Rock Temple is traced back to the 3rd Century B.C to the reign of King Devanampiyatissa. It is believed that the King built the dagoba, planted the Bo sapling and founded the temple after the introduction of Buddhism to the country during his reign.Alu Vihara is so unique because the Tripitaka Dharma, which had been handed down until then, was written in scrolls and the Tripitaka was codified and the fourth Theravada Dharma Sangayana was held here.🌸
