UNESCO Club of Maliyadeva College United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of Maliyadeva College
Since 2007

UNESCO is a related association of the United Nations Association to solve the cultural, educational, scientific and social barriers for a peaceful and harmonious world. UNESCO is a world spread association and there is a branch in Sri Lanka too. We are proud to say that our school is also having a UNESCO society. UNESCO Club of Maliyadeva College is also contributing to achieve this international

expectation in our level. We do projects annually to uplift the happiness and unity of the members of our school as well as the members of other schools. And also we contribute gain international recognition for our school. For that we are doing various projects to make the environment attractive, to give aids for the rural school children who cannot afford their education, to build up relationships among other bringing up peace and harmony, to give a valuable service to our school and country and to create betterment of the society.

With immense gratitude, we proudly conclude 'Malidev Sahurdasra '25' – the Annual Blood Donation Campaign organized by the UNESCO Clubs of Maliyadeva College & Maliyadeva Balika Vidyalaya. Held on 26th February 2025, this noble initiative saw the remarkable participation of 135+ generous donors, each contributing to the gift of life. Your selflessness and commitment to this cause are truly inspiring.

A huge thank you to all the donors, organizers, medical teams, and volunteers who made this event a success. Your dedication ensures that we continue to make a lasting impact on those in need. Together, we are not just donating blood—we are spreading hope and saving lives!

A snapshot of the heartwarming moments that filled our annual blood donation campaign - MALIDEV SAHURDA SARA with love, compassion, and generosity. Though time has passed, the memories of unity, kindness, and generosity continue to inspire and remind us of the power of coming together for a cause greater than ourselves.

It's been a long day since 24th of February 2024 , which this event was concluded successfully. But still the memories and the joy this event bought us keep reminding in our hearts.

Our event may have ended , but its legacy of compassion lives on in the hearts of all who participated. Remember to also participate in the good deeds which are to be happened in the near future !

Maliyadeva UNESCO Club successfully completed the project Evergreen to enrich the greenness of mother earth , by enriching the home gardens in the Kurunegala town

We hope that , this poject will plant the thought inside the minds of people - that the beauty and benefits of plants extend beyond individual species or locations, but rather enrich the entire world.
