"An Evening of Divine Music"
Hindustani Music Recital by Pamalka Manjitha Karunanayake and Students and community of SASANI.

Organized by Iskcon Sri Lanka was held at the temple yesterday at the wonderful divine adobe of Lord Krishna.
We are very glad to be the first Sri Lankan, Sinhala and Buddhist community to sing for Lord Krishna after his new temple was opened to the public.

We extend our thanks to Mahakarta Das Ji and the reverend priests at the temple, Gopinath family and devotees for arranging this evening and showing us love and hospitality.

Yesterday session at the Department of Instrumental Music, Faculty of Dance and Drama, University of the Visual and Performing Arts - Sri Lanka.
Our guest artist Wael Sami Elkholy had a nice collaboration with the Sri Lankan traditional drums. Sharing the indigenous music of Sri Lanka with him and exploring musical possibilities can be very interesting and fun in many ways.
We thank the Head of the Department, Senior Lecurer, Jayantha Pushpakumara and the staff; Dr. Indika Tikiribandara and all other lecturers and undergraduates. Also we thank our director Pamalka Manjitha Karunanayake for coordinating the event.

Successfully completed the workshop/lecture demonstration done by Wael Sami Elkholy at SASANI Institute for Music, Main Branch in Kegalle, Sri Lanka. Hosted by Pamalka Manjitha Karunanayake and there were a few lucky participants who joined with us, sharing wonderful multi-disciplinary knowledge and music. It was such a pleasure to have such great artist with us at our institute and to exand the horizons that people thought would never be possible.

“When you learn more and more, you will know that you know nothing!”, Said Wael to the audience and We also had a impromptu jam session with Wael and Our Director Pamalka on Oud and Esraj respectively.

Hoping for more beneficial opportunities for all students who participated in the event and wishing luck to them all! Especially thanking Wael for traveling far and doing a magnificent job! Thank you!

'SASANI ARCHAN - 10' event was a total success. We are delighted to have many prominent artists with us on that day joining in hands with us. We thank our artists, guests and all invitees including the directors of our fellow institutes and students.
