The Fall of Icarus is a famous Greek myth. To escape imprisonment by King Minos on Crete, Daedalus crafted wings of wax and feathers. Icarus, disregarding his father’s warnings, flew too close to the sun. The heat melted the wax, sending him plummeting into the sea to drown.
