Diving Deep into Lottie Animations!
Just wrapped up this logo animation for a website's loading screen and hero section. As a team who's been working extensively with Lottie, we wanted to share some insights:
The Good:
>Incredibly crisp quality (thanks to vector-based files)
>Surprisingly small file sizes
>Perfect for responsive design
The Challenges:
>Some limitations with AE effects & presets
>Gradients can be tricky to implement
>Mask animations need extra attention
Our workflow: We craft these animations in After Effects and use specialized plugins to convert them to JSON files. Each animation is custom-made to match our clients' unique requirements.
