𝗡𝗲𝘄 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁

Senior Lecturer Dr. (Ms.) Nimali Priyangika has been officially appointed as the Head of the Department of Language Skills Development at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, assuming her duties on 01st September 2026.
Dr. Nimali holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Arts in Linguistics from the University of Kelaniya. Additionally, she earned a Master of Arts degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of other Languages from Chongqing Normal University, P.R. China, a Master of Philosophy in Chinese from the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, and a PhD in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language from Sichuan University, P.R. China.
We extend our warmest congratulations to Senior Lecturer Dr. Nimali Priyangika on assuming her duties as the Head of the Department of Language Skills Development at the Buddhist and Pali University of Sri Lanka, and we wish her every success in her new role.
