Revisiting the launch of Udayshanth Fernando: Living Design
Delhi, India
24 July 2026
Raw Mango, Lodhi Colony

Hosted by designer and Founder Sanjay Garg, the evening brought together leading voices from the worlds of design, art, fashion and culture to celebrate Fernando's monograph, in Delhi, India.
The evening commenced with a talk with Christie’s and The Gujral Foundation’s leading an insightful conversation with Fernando exploring his creative journey, the evolving language of South Asian design, and the enduring relationship between heritage, craftsmanship, and contemporary expression.

The event took place at Raw Mango’s stunning location in Delhi’s Lodhi Colony with signature style details by the brand’s Sanjay Garg and was catered by new Sri Lankan restaurant with a special mention to the drinks served with inspired names.

With gratitude to everyone who joined us in Delhi, considering the sensitive circumstances in the city at the time.

Paradise Road Galleries is pleased to present ‘Reflective Expressions’ by artist Prageeth Manohansa.

The works mark a new direction in the artist’s progress, exploring renewed brush strokes, colour, and expression. Rooted in an instinctive drawing process, each work captures the relationship between observation, memory, movement, and emotion. Created through moments of intense focus- often within two minutes - the artist translates the energy, strength, and presence of carefully studied subjects through a few deliberate gestures.

The human figure form, Lord Ganesha and the elephant are the foundation of this exhibition - subjects that have held deep cultural and symbolic significance throughout history. From the prehistoric imagery of Lascaux Caves and Cave of Altamira to the symbolism of the Sandakada Pahana (moonstone), these forms reflect humanity’s enduring connection with nature, spirituality, and life.

Join us for an exclusive preview on Thursday, 9 July 2026 from 6-8 PM, featuring a recital of Traditional music by the students of the University of the Visual and Performing Arts, Colombo.

The exhibition will be on display until 29 July 2026 from 10am to Midnight at Paradise Road Galleries, 2 Alfred House Road, Colombo 3.

Reflecting on the recent launch of Udayshanth Fernando: Living Design in Mumbai, India.
This was the third destination in our global launch series held on 13 June 2026.

Hosted by Pavitra Rajaram and her team at Nilaya Anthology, the ‘Orangerie’ was transformed by Pavitra and her team to reflect Paradise Road’s distinctive aesthetic.
Floral arrangements, installations, and carefully curated objets d’art inspired by Udayshanth Fernando’s design language were complemented by a bespoke playlist curated by Fernando himself, setting the tone for the evening.

The evening’s highlight was a thought-provoking conversation featuring and moderated by

Bringing together leading figures from design, architecture, fashion, media, and culture, the discussion offered a compelling exploration of Fernando’s creative journey, design philosophy, and enduring contribution to contemporary design.

With gratitude to all who joined us in Mumbai for an extraordinary celebration of the enduring dialogue between art, design, and the art of collecting.
