🎥 On a hot summer night in Paris, Félix meets a young woman, Alma, and falls in love. The next morning, Alma hops on a train to join her family in southern France. Félix, determined to follow his soulmate, embarks on a carpool ride with his best friend Chérif and their reluctant driver Edouard. When the car breaks down upon arrival, things turn sour: Alma doesn’t seem too pleased by this unexpected visit to reality.

📍 Candidates who sat for the DELF Tout Public examination in May 2026 may collect their certificates at the Alliance Française de Colombo from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.

📚 On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the publication of "Le Petit Prince | The Little Prince" by the renowned French writer and aviator Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, the Alliance Française de Colombo was delighted to launch The Box of the Little Prince—a travelling literary and French learning adventure dedicated to introducing Sri Lankan school students to the joy of reading in French.

🏫 By bringing books and activities directly into schools, this initiative creates meaningful opportunities for students to engage with the French language through storytelling, interactive workshops, and moments of sharing.

🌟 Inspired by the timeless values of "The Little Prince"—friendship, curiosity, imagination, and kindness—we hope to nurture a lifelong love of languages, literature, and intercultural discovery.

🎨 As it travels from school to school, The Box of the Little Prince seeks to strengthen language skills, spark creativity, and build lasting connections with Francophone culture.

🎉 We were delighted to launch this programme in collaboration with Ladies' College, Colombo 07, and with the invaluable support of their French teacher, Mrs. Shevanthi Samaraweera. We warmly thank her and the students for welcoming us on the very first stop of this literary adventure.
