⚠️ THIS IS WHY MANY BUSINESSES REFUSE COD ⚠️
We recently experienced a situation that clearly shows how irresponsible behavior is damaging small businesses. A customer placed a Cash on Delivery order and then kept dragging the process for days, providing incorrect contact details, avoiding calls, and wasting everyone’s time. After multiple follow-ups and repeated attempts by the courier, the order was finally cancelled due to non-response. This is exactly the kind of behavior that is forcing businesses to rethink offering COD at all.
What actually happened:
❌ Provided a non-working phone number
❌ Initially claimed it was working, later admitted it wasn’t
❌ Ignored multiple courier calls
❌ Delayed the process for 8 days
❌ Order got cancelled due to no response
🚫 This is NOT acceptable:
Causes direct financial loss (courier charges)
Wastes valuable time and effort
Blocks genuine customers from getting products
Shows complete lack of responsibility
💥 Reality:
THIS is exactly why many businesses are STOPPING COD.
⚠️ Moving forward:
✔ COD will be strictly limited
✔ Orders may require confirmation before dispatch
✔ Unreliable customers will be blocked
