Comprising spaces for rehearsals, artist hosting, scenography workshop and an open air theatre, HAH proposes a year-round artistic programme under the artistic direction of Collectif Kahraba. Situé au coeur de Hammana, un très beau village à 1200 mètre d’altitude et seulement 45 minutes de Beyrouth, Hammana Artist House est un lieu de résidence et de création dédié aux arts de la scène et aux arts visuels. Robert Eid en partenariat avec le Collectif Kahraba, Hammana artist House est d’abord un espace de rencontre et de création, un espace pour le développement artistique. HAH est ouvert aux artistes locaux et internationaux, et a vocation à les soutenir dans leur démarche de création, leur permettre de rencontrer divers publics, de développer leur réseau professionnel et renforcer leur engagement social. Ce lieu dispose de plusieurs espaces de répétition et d’hébergements, d’un atelier de scénographie et d’un théâtre de plein air. Hammana Artist House propose un programme artistique annuel sous la direction du Collectif Kahraba.


يقع بيت الفنان حمّانا على ارتفاع 1200 متر فوق مستوى سطح البحر وعلى بعد 45 دقيقة من العاصمة بيروت، في قرية حمّانا المعروفة بطبيعتها الساحرة. بمبادرة من الدكتور روبير عيد وبالشراكة مع مجموعة كهربا، تأسس بيت الفنان حمانا عام 2016 ليكون فضاءً ثقافياً ومركزاً للإقامات الفنية في مختلف المجالات مع التركيز على فنون العرض بشكل خاص. بيت الفنان حمانا هو أولاً مساحة للتطوير الفني، ومساحة للابتكار والتواصل: يستضيف بيت الفنان فنانين محليين ودوليين لتعميق بحوثهم الفنية، وللّقاء مع جمهور متنوع، وتوسيع شبكاتهم المهنية وتعزيز ارتباطهم المجتمعي. يضم بيت الفنان حمّانا فضاءات للتدريبات ولإقامة الفنانين، وورشة سينوغرافيا ومسرحاً في الهواء الطلق، كما يقدّم برنامجاً فنياً على مدار السنة بإدارة مجموعة كهربا.

Throw back to Syrian Eyes June residency before launching the summer program!

Following the online phase and the heavy realities of the ongoing war, the residency at Hammana Artist House served as a collaborative grounding space. Stepping away from screens and the ongoing pressures, the residency allowed a space for reflection and experimentation.

It allowed for the group to pause, work side by side, navigate creative blocks, and experiment with filming in a real physical space: something that could only be possible when we take the chance to meet.
