Flowers & Fruit: Painting from Life
Painting from Life & Reference with Kristina Anishchenko
This workshop introduces participants to the practice of still life painting, with a focus on observation, color, light, and composition.
The Concept
Participants will work with a specially arranged still life composed of fresh flowers and fruits, exploring how to translate natural color, form, texture, and light into a finished painting.
The workshop will accommodate different levels of experience through two approaches:
Painting from Life
Participants with some painting experience will work directly from the arranged flowers and fruits, learning to observe proportions, color relationships, light, shadow, and atmosphere.
Painting from Reference
As an option beginners will work from a carefully prepared reference image based on the same still-life composition, allowing them to follow the painting process step by step with more confidence and structure.
Both approaches will be taught within the same workshop, allowing every participant to work at an appropriate level while sharing the same artistic experience.

Workshop Experience
The session begins with a short demonstration introducing the composition and painting process.
Kristina will then guide participants individually through the development of their paintings, adapting the instruction to each person's level.
The aim is not simply to reproduce the objects, but to learn how to see - understanding relationships of color, shape, light, and space while developing an individual painterly response.
All levels welcome.
No previous painting experience is required. Beginners will receive structured guidance and a reference to work from, while more experienced participants will be encouraged to paint directly from life.
