I remember how, almost a year ago, the world was going crazy over the possibility of banning alcoholic beverages in the World Cup stadiums. Many fans threatened to boycott the World Cup in Qatar due to human rights concerns associated with the Qatari government. Those remain silent now as hundreds of Palestinian civilians are killed on a daily basis. Apparently, a Westerner's right to have a beer while watching a football game is more valuable than a Palestinian's right to live.
Dear West, I hope you enjoy your beers while you watch this genocide.
