// Ideal vision
Founded in a country with a long history of political conflicts, and lack of long-term cultural vision and support for arts and talents, Onomatopoeia – The Music Hub is a non-profit organization that views music as a tool and language that can be used for the molding of a better society. For some, music might appear like a small footnote in the overall progression of humanity; it
is in truth a much greater and dynamic entity, and somehow defines our very existence. Through its work, Onomatopoeia takes advantage of the variety of music languages, and invests in the natural connection of music with human nature. Its aim is to take advantage of music’s capacity to bring harmony to society, thus enriching people's thinking, actions and even intelligence.
// Beliefs and values
Onomatopoeia – The Music Hub firmly believes that music can influence people’s lives. When placed in the right context, music can activate the human brain in alternative ways, bypass overworked areas, allow access to different abilities, and increase overall production. We believe that all people, especially younger generations, should have access to music education, regardless of political barriers and financial constraints. Society should be exposed to a wide and diverse range of music genres, delivered through a variety of existing media (radio, television, theater, etc.).
// Mission
Onomatopoeia – The Music Hub strives to spread music culture in society, making it more accessible to various individuals, by creating inspirational spaces and platforms for music-related activities, and providing a wide variety of innovative programs and facilities. Onomatopoeia serves as a cross-platform that links different generations of musicians and bridges different styles of music. Its mission is based on motivating existing talents, and influencing and contributing to younger people’s music skills and evolution. Onomatopoeia hosts and nurtures musicians from all across the board, and encourages them to create original content and performances that truly reflect their identity.
