Our thoughts are with Lokman Slim's family and his wife Monika, with whom he co-directed a number of documentaries that we had the honour to screen at the Lebanese Film Festival. These documentaries revisited the dark pages of our history mainly as a work of remembrance. We believe that the best way to honor his memory is to carry on this work, each his own way, in order to grant his wish of seeing the emergence of a society in peace with its past

Toutes nos pensées vont à la famille de Lokman Slim et à sa femme Monika avec qui il a co-réalisé plusieurs documentaires que nous avons eu l’honneur de projeter dans notre festival. Des documentaires sur des pages sombres de notre histoire où il était surtout question de travail de mémoire. Et nous pensons que la meilleure façon d’honorer sa mémoire, c’est de prolonger, chacun à sa façon, ce travail pour exaucer son vœu de voir émerger une société en paix avec son passé.

La deuxième édition de FFFMED aura lieu du 04 au 11 novembre 2019 à l’Institut francais de Jounieh et à NDU Louaizeh au Liban, en partenariat avec le NDU International Film Festival.

Résidence d'écriture de scénario dédiée aux femmes francophones de la Méditerranée et de sa diaspora, FFFMED offre l'opportunité de développer son projet de scénario au cours d'une semaine intensive, accompagnées de professionnels de l'industrie.

Check out the full videos of the closing and awards ceremony on Fine Line Production's website in the link below. Looking back at last week and all the excitement we had we are very proud of everyone and especially the audiences for filling up the seats and stairs and making this a fantastic one and looking forward to our next edition in 2020.

The 13th Lebanese Film Festival took place between 17 - 21 September of 2018 at Beirut Souks Cinemacity, and Fine Line Production was there to cover it.
