In April 2022, ๐ ๐ฎ๐น๐ด๐ผ๐ฟ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฎ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐๐ธ๐ผ traveled through and discovered the masterpieces of Islamic architecture in and Bukhara. She was captivated by the monumental power of these brick-and-mosaic buildings, crowned with immense turquoise domes erected to the glory of God.
Beyond the majesty of their proportions and the virtuosity of their Muslim ornamentation, it was the revelation of blue that profoundly transformed her vision. The Prussian blue, which had been prominent in her nocturnal landscapes between 2010 and 2020, gave way to the intensity of . In these recent compositions, architecture and skies merge in a single, deep, vibrant blue light, enhanced with gold, lifting forms out of time and endowing them with a new spiritual dimension.
In this exhibition entitled ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐๐ณ๐ถ๐ด๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป๐, Malgorzata Paszko, inspired by the magnificence of Islamic architecture, reinvents her painting in a sovereign celebration of matter and color, where matter becomes light and color becomes sacred.
Alice Mogabgab is pleased to invite you to the opening reception of the exhibition
