𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘴 opens June 12, 6–9PM at Beirut Art Center

Bringing together the works of artists from ALBA, 𝘝𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘦𝘴 unfolds through a range of practices moving between human and animal bodies, dreams and memory, presence and absence. The exhibition brings together reflections on time, loss, death, and the divine.

Friday 5 June • 8PM, doors open 7PM

Yara Khalil is a Lebanese psychologist by day and DJ by night with deep southern roots, blending her passion for music, energy healing, and human connection into every set she plays. Moving seamlessly through Afro House, Disco House, Groove, Melodic House, and Techno, she creates immersive experiences driven by rhythm, emotion, and good vibes.

In 2023, she played a pioneering role in introducing the techno scene to Nabatieh by creating and curating several events at Stayha, helping shape a new underground music culture in South Lebanon. Her sound is both grounding and uplifting, a journey designed to connect people to themselves, each other, and the dancefloor.

الجمعة ٥ حزيران ٠ ٨ مساءً ، الأبواب تفتح ٧ مساءً

في النهار أخصائية نفسية، وفي الليل دي جي.
يارا خليل هي دي جي لبنانية بجذور جنوبية، تجمع بين شغفها بالموسيقى، العلاج بالطاقة، وصناعة الأجواء الإيجابية في كل Set تقدّمه. تتنقّل بأسلوبها الموسيقي بين الـ Afro House، Disco House، Groove، Melodic House، وTechno، لتخلق تجربة مليئة بالإحساس، الإيقاع، والتواصل.
وفي عام ٢٠٢٣، ساهمت في إدخال مشهد الـ Techno إلى النبطية من خلال تنظيم وإحياء عدة حفلات في Stayha، حيث ساعدت في خلق مساحة جديدة للموسيقى الإلكترونية والثقافة البديلة في جنوب لبنان. موسيقاها رحلة تجمع الناس بالطاقة، بالمكان، وببعضهم البعض على
حلبة الرقص.

Thursday 4 June • 8PM, doors open 7PM

Anis Nassereddine is a Lebanese filmmaker and actor who he studied cinema and television at the Lebanese University in Beirut. He is the writer and director of A City With No Birds (2024) and Even Rocks Flew Away (2025) and has received recognition from film festivals across Tunisia, Greece, Brazil, Turkey and Lebanon. Anis is credited as an actor in Ya Ghayeb (2024), a shahid original by 2pure Studios, A Sign Of Faith (2025) by Samir Habchy, Ya Mejana by Mahdi Moussaoui and The Red Mountain by Kamel Harb.

Houssein Bassal holds a BA in Radio/TV from Lebanese International University. He currently works as a video journalist with Megaphone, where he documents people’s daily lives, intimate stories, and overlooked details, with a focus on archiving lived experiences during times of crisis and social transformation in Lebanon. During the last war, Bassal closely followed the stories of displacement, struggle, and resilience, committed to telling these narratives through the voices and perspectives of the people themselves. His work seeks to preserve collective memory and create a human archive for future generations.

Mohamad Alayan is a Lebanese multidisciplinary artist working across acting, photography, cinema, and theatre. He studied Law and graduated from the Lebanese University before pursuing a career in the arts. Alayan has acted in several short films and feature films, while also developing a personal artistic practice.

Stayha on the rooftop | Poetry & Storytelling Night with Live Ney Music

Friday, May 29 • 8 PM, doors open 7 PM

Moslim Fahes is a Ney player with over 14 years of experience from the town of Jibsheet South Lebanon. A seventh-year student at the Higher Institute of Music and a member of the Syndicate of Professional Musicians and Singers in Lebanon, he has participated in numerous recordings and vocal ensembles. During the war, he led live events titled “Meditation through Music,” offering a space for healing through sound.

Areej is a writer and actress, specialising in the Arabic language.

Omnia Makki is a storyteller and weaver of tales who breathes life into living heritage, honoring their existence through spoken narratives and traditional folklore.
