This is a tribute to my lovely mum, the divine feminine power of creation, who brought me to this world a couple of moon backs!
She taught me courage, love, authenticity, and dignity! I couldn’t have made it in this ruthless world without the amazing example she was for me, and lord knows it has been a bumpy road.

I was born in this land, Beirut during the war, under heavy shelling… and this same ugly war still goes on to this day on all our territory… in a way never seen before! This agression a normal mind can’t comprehend! This time I lost the link between the past, the present, and the future. I am not sure if it’s me as an 8 year old, who used to say this is jidar el sot! Or if it’s me as an adult saying was this jidar el sot or an explosion. I am not certain we do or Lebanon still has a future after this?!

If I have only one wish, it’s for those atrocity to stop immidiately. Of course the satanist men who rule this world have other plans for us!

I love you and miss you more than ever mum and hope we will be reunited soon 🫂💖🙏🏻

This is the Beirut and the Lebanon we love.

Our new normal is daily attacks, a war the most evil you can ever witness in which you are observed day and night and subjected to torture.

This is the worst form of psychological warfare we are being subjected to, poorly scripted, filled with fake news, changes of plots…

Once all this is all over what I will still remember is all of you guys who stood by me, and comforted me, your support means the world to me!
Thank you for being here during these very tough times! 🙏🏻🫶🏻🍀

My only wish is we all stay safe, my family, friends, neighbors, clients, artisans and be reunited very soon!

Thank you for this great turnover! Yesterday we celebrated ‘Lebanese Landscapes, a journey of belonging’ at Agial Art Gallery together with friends and family.

An extensive exhibition featuring, just to name a few, my Professor Mohamad el Rawas to whom I am very grateful, my inspiring neighbor Omar Onsi whose work I admire, the family’s friend Aref el Rayes, my talented friend Tamara Haddad, Etel Adnan that I admire… and many more!

Many thanks to the inspiring curator and pioneer gallerist for this wonderful experience

This large exhibition creates a dialogue between established Lebanese painters with contemporary artists that I have so much admiration for!
