I always trust my intuition when choosing a piece. I am drawn to how they look and the clues they hold that help me put the stories of their past together.
I don't always know what color or style i am going to dress them with but i trust the process and know that they will look beautiful once they're done.
These pieces are available :)

Jasmine.
How does one even begin to describe jasmine in all its layers, and in all its beauty? The childhood memories of the jasmine earrings and tiaras, the gatherings of the old and young under its aromatic wings, the careful picking of the ones that whisper to us “it’s ok, you can have me”, the ones we lay to rest in bowls filled with water so their perfume may reverberate through the night…
We rarely speak of it, yet everyone I know has a jasmine story to tell…and its memory echoes so vividly in my mind that, as the spring breezes begin to carry away the last of the cold.
I choose to honour and preserve it the best way I know how…by painting it

Barcelona you have my heart!
Gaudí — the famous curves, the dreamlike buildings, the architecture that looks like it was grown instead of built. And yes, I saw it. I stood in front of his work the way you stand in front of something too beautiful to process quickly. Gaudí doesn’t just design buildings, he builds emotions into stone. Every detail feels intentional, alive, almost playful, like the city is winking at you through mosaic tiles and spiraling iron balconies.
But what surprised me most was how Barcelona’s magic didn’t stay inside museums or landmarks.
It spilled into the streets.
I walked for hours, not even caring where I was going, because the streets themselves were the experience. The texture of the city , the light, the old walls, the patterns underfoot, the balconies full of plants, the sudden bursts of color made every corner feel like a small discovery.
Barcelona has that rare kind of beauty that doesn’t demand attention loudly… it just rewards you when you slow down enough to look.
And somewhere between those walks, I met a Catalan artist I didn’t expect to fall for: Isidre Nonell.
His work felt like a completely different side of Barcelona not the bright postcard version, but something deeper. More human. More honest. Nonell doesn’t paint to impress you. He paints to tell the truth. The softness and sadness in his subjects stayed with me. It felt like meeting the city’s quieter soul, the one that exists underneath all the sunlight.
And then there was Palau de la Música Catalana.
Walking inside felt unreal! like stepping into a jewel box made of music. The stained glass, the color, the curves, the ceiling that looks like the sky cracked open into a chandelier… it wasn’t just beautiful. It was overwhelming in the best way. A place built to celebrate sound and somehow, even in silence, it felt like it was singing.

Restoring and reviving this mirror was quite a challenge. It had several layers of paint, with crackles everywhere and stains on the mirror. But seeing how beautiful and elegant it is now, I’d say the hard work paid off!
Let me know what do you think of this transformation :)

My passion lies in finding discarded treasures and reviving them with a little sprinkle of joy. I can picture the beautiful untold stories in each and every item, as well as the countless life journeys that surrounds them.
To me, the piece of furniture is not an object anymore, each has a story to tell. In each item, there’s a journey that I am passionate to be a part of. Every piece has a unique identity and different people involved in its journey.
I started Crafted Treasures by Nataly back in January 2018, and I have worked tirelessly to develop and refine my upcycling methods and techniques.
Art is free, reviving a piece ensures the story will carry on from one household to another, and that piece will be there to tell it all.
Thank you for being part of this story and embarking on this journey with me! =)
