you will have the chance to see Mawtini (My Homeland) by Fateema Al-Hamaydeh Miller, an 18min film where Nawal, a young Palestinian woman, and Tanya, an older Indigenous woman, start a guerrilla garden on the lawn of their apartment building and battle middle management to make it to harvest

Co-curated by M. Carmen Lane and Allison Hasiba Abdallah, OF TIME documents a simultaneous and continuous conversation of lived experience, of testimony and of place.

Featured artists: Zach Hussein, Tarik Kazaleh, Rhonda Khalifeh, Joe Namy, Jenna Hamed, Jenin Yaseen, Andre + Evan Lenox-Samour and Abdallah Kassem.

OF TIME was catalyzed and first held by co-curator M. Carmen Lane at .o in Cleveland, Ohio in October of 2024. In May of 2025, it traveled to OF TIME artist Jenna Hamed at in Brooklyn, New York, where Hamed led the production of a coinciding artist box publication. The box publication functions as a living exhibition and extension of the relationships between artists, curators, hosts, and community partners - one which is able to move more freely in the world than many of the contributors themselves. Today, Turtle Island makes contact with ๐˜ˆ๐˜ญ-๐˜š๐˜ฉ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ as the exhibition reaches the care of OF TIME artist Ieva Saudargaitฤ— Douaihi at .beirut in Lebanon.
