Almost There Film Festival in its 7th edition, held the title: “Our Rooted Rights”. Upon our three different locations, ATFF introduced inspiring discussions led by environmental experts, accompanied by outdoor film screening that address our environmental situation, and the focus of our subtopics, which are: food sovereignty, climate change, and water management.
Gratitude to everyone who contributed to this festival.
A heartful thank you to Bayt Lamma, Sikka Saida, and Orient Institut Beirut for hosting us within Beqa, Saida and Beirut.
Thanks to all the experts that each has made an inspirational yet knowledgeable discussion and gave a better understanding to each topic.
Thanks to the moderators: William Outa, Layal Khateeb, and Christopher Maroun, that did a great job facilitating the flow of the festival in each location and did a great and fruitful Q&A
Thanks to the assistants that joined in each location and helped with the flow of the festival

هذه السنة كان مهرجان الأفلام "ما بقى الا نوصل" بنسخته السابعة - حقوقنا المتجذرة، والذي عُرض في ثلاثة مواقع مختلفة في لبنان، قدم مناقشات ملهمة بقيادة خبراء البيئة، وعروض أفلام في الهواء الطلق تتناول وضعنا البيئي، وتمحورت حول: السيادة الغذائية، وتغير المناخ، وإدارة المياه. الشكر لكل من ساهم في هذا المهرجان.

Julien Jreissati, an environmental expert from Greenpeace, provides insights into the concept of climate change, its underlying causes, and assess Lebanon’s preparedness to address climate change across various dimensions.

Julien will be joining us to discuss climate change further, on September 2nd during the final day of the 7th edition of ATFF at Orient-Institut, Beirut.

Hussam Hawwa, a water management expert from Difaf, discusses the importance of properly managing water resources. He explains why people in Lebanon frequently rely on water tanker trucks and suggests various strategies to better manage water.

Hussam is going to be with us to discover more about water resource management on September 1st, at Orient-Institut Beirut, the first day of ATFF in Beirut.

حسام حوا، خبير إدارة المياه من ضفاف، يناقش أهمية الإدارة السليمة للموارد المائية. ويشرح سبب اعتماد الناس في لبنان بشكل متكرر على شاحنات المياه الصهاريجية ويقترح استراتيجيات مختلفة لإدارة المياه بشكل أفضل.

The second spot for ATFF's 7th edition was in Saida: Engaging conversations facilitated by environmental specialists, and activists in different fields, coupled with open-air film screenings tackling our ecological circumstances. Ended with an environmentally-aware atmosphere with a seed exchange between Juzuruna Buzuruna and the participants,
Genuine appreciation to Sikka Saida for hosting us on our 7th edition, and special thanks to Buzuruna Juzuruna that skillfully handled the technicalities.

الموقع الثاني للنسخة السابعة من مهرجان الأفلام كان في صيدا: مناقشات شيّقة تسهم فيها خبراء البيئة والنشطاء في مجالات متعددة، جنبًا إلى جنب مع عروض أفلام في الهواء الطلق تتناول ظروفنا البيئية. اختتمت بأجواء توعية بالبيئة مع تبادل بذور بين "جذورنا بزورنا" وبين المشاركين والحدث.
