Life is beautifully punctuated by precious encounters.

was there at the very beginning, when the installation was just an idea coming together. She loved it when others criticized it and generously opened her studio day and night for me. She accompanied me step by step as the work unfolded. Thanks a million Nat ❤️

Then came , a contemporary art expert I had met during ceramics classes. She didn’t hesitate a minute when I presented my project.
Having lost her daughter during the Beirut port explosion, her blessing and full involvement meant the world to me.
She pushed me to work and constantly reminded me that everything is possible, and that dreaming big is the rule.
I feel grateful for her involvement, motivation and support but mostly feel blessed to have come across such a beautiful, generous and inspiring person. Can’t thank you enough Annie ❤️

Created in response to the Beirut port explosion of 4 August 2020, my ceramics installation evokes shattered homes, and pays tribute to each of the 220 victims and their lives suspended in time.
This is my love letter to Beirut and its people.
On a Sidewalk is permanently on display at Beit Beirut, thus including it in the memory and history of the city.
