KARIM GHORAYEB
Karim is a Lebanese cinematographer born in 1987. His passion for capturing rare moments through photography has taken him to many countries around the world. As a cinematographer, he has worked on several feature films, series, documentaries, video installations, commercials, and music videos. Now based in Beirut, Karim continues to seek out inspiring and intimate stories to tell.
YARA AKKARI
Yara’s career in non-profit work, development, and renewable energy has taken her around the world — from Haiti to India, Nepal, Uganda, Kenya, and Ethiopia — always with the mission of bringing solar energy to communities that need it most. Five years ago, she launched her independent print magazine, OPEN SPACES (), where she weaves together her love for Art, Nature, and Travel. She recently moved to California to be closer to nature and focus more fully on the magazine. Yara is a big supporter of LOFF and any initiative working to support Lebanon, where she’s originally from and still deeply connected.
