𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗹 is a multidisciplinary artist creating multi-sensorial work.
Her work revolves around the experiential aspects of performance while using choreography as her main tool for research and practice.
Her work examines the body, language, and sound in relation to movement and space, addressing themes like memory, absence, fragmentation, body as archive and embodiment.
Recently, Serhal’s work has been focusing on olfactory art, exploring the power of scent and nature as a means of identity, rootedness, and spatial creation.

Starting on October 31st, Petra will present for the first time in Beirut “𝙎𝙞𝙝𝙧 سِحِرْ”, a multi-sensorial performance in 𝗻𝗼/𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮’s garden.

We are glad to present “𝙎𝙞𝙝𝙧 سِحِرْ”, a multi-sensorial performance by 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗮 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗮𝗹 starting on the 31st of October at 𝗻𝗼/𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗽𝗶𝗮 gallery’s garden.

Get ready to be bewitched with aromatic and medicinal plants, flowers, and natural material through smell, touch, vision and taste, while listening to stories of women’s relation to love, loss, nature and magic.
