The Fast Lane Trance
For long I went off,
And writing in the background
Like forgotten water on the stove
Has been always agitated.
Of the matters that matter,
The artificial art and behaviors,
Visual art has never been that easy
Writing as well, it is easy,
Poetry flows with the same ease,
As the algorithm of artificial art
Is largely free, or cheap,
Like the value of many artists
Writers, poets, and sculptors.
The Oxford comma here helps
It helps me feel good,
Since all what's new seems bad,
And all what's old feels good,
And I, have written much
And i am saturated.
Videos and pictures,
Painings and sculptures,
Human relarions, cars,
Nearly every newly born item
Is highly prone to corruption.
And there lies the question,
As a poet, who has published 3 books,
And have many not published yet,
Am I still going to feel the burden
Of writing poetry?
Am I putting myself with computers?
Am I still willing to prose and rhyme,
To hear with my ears what my eyes read,
And correct the metre/meter...?
For long I went off,
And off will be for long.
