Tomorrow is the first day of the open studio event to showcase the outcome of ููุฏ ุงูุชูููู residency at B'sarya for Arts - ุจุณุงุฑูุง ูููููู
I'm extremely grateful I had the opportunity and space to be part of this residency, and the team at B'sarya was very helpful and supportive, I felt like I was at home! I had the freedom and space to let inspiration flow from the creative process while receiving the guidance needed to have a solid foundation ๐๐ฝ
My project is titled "Gazing into a darker abyss" and it's a white-on-black acrylic painting collection that approaches painting as a meditative state, where visual layers intersect with deeper currents of thought and emotion. Through the interplay of light, shadow, and texture, it explores the limits of perception and the possibilities of creating dimension within the surface.
It also engages with grief as a transient condition, reconfiguring emptiness not as loss, but as an open field. It traces what remains after disappearance, delving into liminal space as a crucial portal of transformation.
And finally, to breathe life into this entity of concentrated energy, the painting collection is displayed accompanied by a soundtrack that's available on my Bandcamp.
