3 PIMENTO (aka ALLSPICE) facts for you!

1. Jamaican Pimento is considered superior because of its higher oil content, better appearance and flavour and accounts for 70% of the world trade.

2. Only FEMALE Pimento trees bear fruit!

3. Pimento contains eugenol, which accounts for some of the traditional uses for toothache, muscle pain, and as a germ-killer.

This is the Spur Tree Spices timeline, where we show you where we have been and where we plan to go.

In 2006 we got started with a small commercial blender and one client. Fast forward to 2011 and would have shipped our first container to the UK. Yes! A lot happened in five years, we were a company growing fast.

Here is a look at some of our highlights from 2011 to 2016. You will see the investments we made in our local manufacturing and the awards we started receiving. We hope this gives you an idea of work we have been doing and will continue to do.
