It was both challenging and exciting to create something completely out of my wheelhouse. Weaving, twisting, turning, and knotting the rope and thread felt like a new dance- one that I thoroughly enjoyed. thank you for entrusting me with this. Your eye for elegance and unique style always inspires me.

I highly recommend .ky ONE I GT Hotel where the installation hangs in its beautiful setting. Thank you for the fun Miami rope shopping, and for helping me get the pieces onto the wall so beautifully.

What an honour it was to be commissioned to paint the ONE GT Residences lobby wall. The task felt both daunting and deeply rewarding, and the entire process was incredibly exciting from start to finish.

I absolutely loved collaborating with on the beautiful wall texture that brought so much depth and character to the piece. thank you for your incredible support in this project. New skill to add to your list: laser guidance.

IDG - Interior Design Group is proud to present “Textural Harmony” by J Every Art & Josie Frazer for Cayman Art Week 2026.

As part of “Spatial Dialogue: A Conversation Between Art & Interior”, this collaborative collection explores the power of texture, tone, and layered materiality within interior spaces.

Janine Every, a South African artist and co-owner of The Studio at the Seafire Resort & Spa, brings over 15 years of experience creating bespoke, site-responsive works across a wide range of media and surfaces. Her practice is defined by versatility and an intuitive understanding of how art can elevate and harmonize with its environment.

Josie Frazer, a Caymanian artist, Fine Art graduate of Northumbria University, and co-owner of The Studio, offers a perspective shaped by her island upbringing and a strong foundation in portraiture. Her work balances technical precision with expressive freedom, resulting in pieces that feel both personal and atmospheric.

Together, their work reflects a shared sensitivity to space, where art moves beyond decoration to become an essential element within the interior.

Join us for Cayman Art Week, happening from 27–31 May. The exhibition event takes place on Thursday, 28 May, from 6:00 to 10:00 pm at the new IDG Showroom, Seven Mile Shops. We look forward to seeing you there!

“Still Waters”

There is something sacred about stillness. In a world that constantly moves, rushes, and demands more, we need to be reminded to pause, and be with our Creator.

There is a quiet strength in still waters. Not loud or demanding, but steady, peaceful, and grounding. I wanted this painting to feel like a moment of exhale, an invitation to slow down and simply be present.

Art rarely exists in isolation. It lives within the spaces we inhabit.

This May, IDG - Interior Design Group returns to Cayman Art Week 2026 with Spatial Dialogue: A Conversation Between Art & Interior.

Created in collaboration with artists Al Ebanks, J Every Art, and Josie Frazer, the exhibition explores the dialogue between art and interior space. Sculptural works and wall pieces will be woven into curated interior settings, inviting visitors to experience art as it is truly meant to be lived with.

The exhibition will be held at our newly renovated IDG Showroom and Design Atelier at Seven Mile Shops, offering an exclusive first look at our transformed space.
