아마즈 작가에게 밤은 두려움이 아닌, 가장 익숙하고 선명한 시간입니다. 세상이 고용해지고고 불빛이 희미해질 때, 작가와 그의 작업은 선명한 윤곽을 드러냅니다.
《밤 나들이》는 작가가 말하는 “비로소 어두워져야 보이는” 것들에 대한 이야기입니다. 작가에게 어둠은 무언가를 가리는 결핍이 아닌, 진정한 인식을 위한 배경입니다. 낮의 밝음에 숨겨졌던 우리 안의 진짜 얼굴, 외로움, 불안, 그리고 그리움은 밤이 되어서야 숨김없이 드러납니다.
작가에게 ’밤 나들이‘는 세상 밖으로의 나들이가 아니라, 작가 내면으로의 깊은 여정입니다.그 길 위에서 아마즈는 어둠과 눈을 맞추고, 그 속에 담긴 스스로의 빛을 찾아 나섭니다.
For Amaz, the night is not a time of fear, but the most familiar and vivid hour. As the world settles and the lights dim, the artist and his works emerge with greater clarity.
𝘐𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 is a story about the things that “only become visible when it is finally dark.” For the artist, darkness is not a lack that conceals, but a backdrop for true recognition. The true face is us -loneliness, anxiety, longing-hidden beneath the brightness of day, surface only in the openness of night.
For the artist, ‘night stroll’is not a wander into the outer but a deep journey into his inward. Along this path, Amaz meets the darkness eye to eye and sets out to find the light that resides within it.
