모데시에서 다양한 음악과 아티스트를 소개해온 DJ Sina Hill의 새로운 파티가 Eddie C의 롱셋과 함께한다. 그리고 각 장르의 서울을 대표하는 디거들을 초대해 풍성한 사운드를 선보인다.

다운비트 디스코의 캐나다 왕세자로 불리는 Eddie C는 약 20년 넘게 하우스, 디스코, 발레아릭 크로스오버 신에서 중심적인 역할을 해왔다. 80년대 후반 힙합과 애시드 하우스, 레이브 문화를 거치고 수많은 아티스트들과 방대한 양의 레코드를 남기며 프로듀서, 리믹서, Dub 아티스트로 자리 잡았다. 본인의 레이블 Red Motorbike Records와 Disko Universal Records를 운영하며 Razor-N-Tape, Lumberjacks in Hell 등 자신의 작업과 함께 전 세계 프로듀서들을 꾸준히 소개해오고 있다. Movement, Wonderfruit, Montreux Jazz Festival 등 주요 페스티벌과 Panorama Bar, Rex Club, Womb, Vent, Corsica Studios 등 미국, 유럽 아시아 등 세계 각지의 클럽에서 헤드라이너로 활동하며 글로벌 팬층을 형성했다.

전 세계를 돌며 디깅한 희귀한 바이닐과 사운드를 풀어내는 Eddie C의 첫 내한 4시간 롱셋을 오는 4월 25일 토요일에 만나볼 수 있다.

A new night at Modeci brings a long set from Eddie C, alongside a lineup curated by Sina Hill, featuring some of Seoul’s finest diggers across disco, balearic, and house.

Dubbed the Canadian crown prince of downbeat disco, Eddie C has played a central role in the global house, disco, and Balearic crossover scene for over two decades. Shaped by late ’80s hip-hop, acid house, and rave culture, he has built an extensive catalog as a producer, remixer, and dub artist, collaborating widely and releasing a vast body of work.

He runs his own labels, Red Motorbike Records and Disko Universal Records, while continuing to release music and spotlight producers worldwide through imprints such as Razor-N-Tape and Lumberjacks in Hell. His performances span major festivals including Movement, Wonderfruit, and Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as leading clubs such as Panorama Bar, Rex Club, Womb, VENT, and Corsica Studios, establishing a strong global following.

Her formative residency at Düsseldorf’s legendary Salon des Amateurs laid the foundation for her unique approach one that resists conventional structures in favor of tension, contrast, and fluidity. Gerd Janson was born in Romania and raised near Frankfurt, coming of age during the early boom of dance music in Germany. A life-changing moment came when he heard a tape by Sven Väth during a scout trip, which sparked his deep interest in club culture. Although he never initially set out to become a DJ, he began collecting records and eventually learned to DJ, first making his mark as a journalist writing for influential magazines like Groove and Spex.
