Hello divine creatures! It's been a heck of a year and a half at Divine but it's time for me to say goodbye. We will be closing our doors on the last day of this month. We want to thank all our wonderful patrons for your lovely business and support and hope to get a chance to see you all once again before our final day. The lovely Samia is in town from New York and will be performing a sultry jazz piece this Saturday. Next Friday the 28th, we'll be featuring the quintet Dali (saxophone, percussion, drum, bass and piano with vocals) and finally our grand finale on the 29th....we are going out with a big bang! Longtime friends Sotto Gamba, Samia, DJs all into the night, tons of prizes with a percentage of our proceeds going to help a wonderful friend in need. Check our page and event pages for details and updates! I am truly humbled and blessed, the universe is great! Thank you~

This is Lisa. We have had a transparent donation box for Educate A Child on our bar practically since we opened. 100% of this money goes to impoverished children in need in the Philippines. We do not have a tip box and direct all tips into this box as well. Recently I came in and noticed that the box was not there. I was stunned and called security. I would like to apologize on behalf of my staff and myself for not guarding our donation box with more caution...to all the patrons of Divine who opened their pockets and their hearts... to my good friend Nancy Kim...and the innocent children who have been deprived of rice, books, and an education. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine someone would have the gall to steal a donation box. I usually hold a Halloween fundraiser for Educate A Child every year but I am not this year. If you would like a quiet place to hang out and avoid the Halloween madness, you are welcome to join me. 10% of today's profits will be donated to Educate A Child.
