Dr. Tae Kyung Kwon is a clinician and educator with extensive clinical and academic experience in endodontics and vital pulp therapy (VPT).

🦷 In this lecture, he will explore long-term failures following VPT and the clinical challenges they pose. Drawing on clinical cases and their subsequent management, he will discuss the underlying causes of VPT failure and present practical strategies for achieving more predictable, successful outcomes.

Dr. Su-Min Lee, Associate Professor and Director of the Predoctoral Program and Endodontic Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, is an expert in regenerative endodontics with a research focus on dental stem cells, pulp regeneration, and biomaterials.

🌱 In this lecture, she will present the long-term clinical outcomes of regenerative endodontic procedures (REPs) in immature permanent teeth with necrotic pulps. Through long-term clinical cases and radiographic follow-up, she will highlight healing patterns, root development, treatment outcomes, and key factors influencing long-term success, providing practical guidance for case selection and clinical decision-making.

Prof. Shimon Friedman, Professor Emeritus at the University of Toronto and one of the world's most influential leaders in endodontics, is internationally recognized for his pioneering contributions to endodontic education, research, and microsurgical treatment.

🔬 In this lecture, he will introduce the biological principles and clinical application of Retrograde Root Canal Retreatment as an alternative to conventional apical microsurgery. Drawing on clinical cases and long-term outcome data, he will demonstrate how this innovative approach enhances root canal disinfection, improves sealing of the entire canal system, and leads to more predictable surgical outcomes.
