[2022 K**A Conference]

With the inaugural of this week, international attention to Korean art has increased recently. The 2022 K**A Conference(KAMS Art Market & Appraisal Conference) will be held to discuss the social meaning and function of art collecting and discuss the art business under the topic of Art Collecting and Business.

The 8th K**A Conference, which runs from September 1st (Thu) to September 2nd (Fri), is an international art event representing Korea, and we plan to invite art experts every year and lay the foundation for expanding the Korean art market through their discussion. 2022 K**A Conference will be held both online and offline! The biggest youth art festival in Korea, "2022 Asian Students and Young Artists Art Festival(ASYAAF)" is being held from July 26 to August 21 in Hongik University's Museum of Art.

This exhibition is divided into two parts: 'ASYAFF' is for young artists who are Asian students at universities and graduate schools under the age of 35, and 'Hidden Artist' is to discover hidden masters in the art world over the age of 36. 500 young artists will be selected, and about 1,000 artworks will be displayed.

You can enjoy this year's entries as well as buy your artworks at 2022 ASYAAF. In addition, the artworks will be sold on the ASYAAF website even after the offline exhibition is over. It provides young artists with continuous opportunities to sell their artwork and visitors can meet the work of ASYAFF anytime and anywhere. This year, ASYAAF introduced NFTs sales, and it will be to create an immersive exhibition experience at the same time. Come see these special exhibitions!

국내 최대의 청년 미술 축제인 '2022 아시아프’가 7월 26일부터 8월 21일까지 홍익대학교 현대미술관 건물에서 개최됩니다. 이번 전시에서는 아시아 국적의 대학(원) 생 및 만 35세 이하 젊은 작가를 대상으로 하는 '아시아프'와 만 36세 이상의 숨겨진 미술계 고수를 발굴하는 '히든 아티스트' 부문으로 나눠 청년작가 5백 명을 선정하고 약 1천여 점의 작품을 전시합니다. 2022 아시아프를 통해 국내 신진 작가들의 창의적인 작품과 현대미술의 새로운 흐름을 느껴보시기 바랍니다. ()

A solo exhibition, titled 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘐𝘝- 𝘏𝘺𝘶𝘯𝘨𝘬𝘰𝘰 𝘓𝘦𝘦 is shown at the Busan Museum of Art(BMA). BMA has presented an exhibition titled 𝘏𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘭𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘰𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘈𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘵 to introduce significant artists in the contemporary art of Korea. This exhibiton is being held in 2022 as the fourth show sheds light on the oeuvre of Hyungkoo Lee, an artist that has carried on his thoughts and artistic approach to the concept of “human body” using a unique figurative language. The exhibition is intended to examine significant meanings of the body which pe*****te the entire scope of his works and rethink the prestige of the human body with untapped artistic potential. From the early work to the new work ‘Pink Vessel’(2022), you can take a look at more than 100 works and archives collected by artists, including human models, objects, and anatomical books. Don’t miss out before it’s over. The exhibition runs until August 7.

더아트로는 부산시립미술관에서 진행중인 《한국현대미술작가조명 IV- 이형구》전에 다녀왔습니다. 부산시립미술관은 한국 현대미술의 주요 지점에 위치한 작가를 소개하는 한국현대미술작가조명전을 개최해왔는데, 이형구 작가의 개인전은 2022년 네 번째로 개최되는 전시입니다. 이번 전시에서는 독창적인 조형 언어를 바탕으로 ‘몸’에 대한 주제 의식을 이어가는 작가 이형구의 작품 세계를 조망합니다. 이형구 작가에게 몸은 재현의 대상이자, 소재이며 매체입니다. 몸은 하나의 완결로 귀결되지 않으며, 집요한 추적과 탐색을 멈추지 않는 그에게 탐구와 영감의 원천입니다. 이번 전시에서는 초기작부터 2022년 신작 〈Pink Vessel〉까지, 100여 점이 넘는 작품과 인체 모형, 오브제, 해부학 서적 등 작가가 수집해 온 아카이브를 함께 살펴보실 수 있습니다. 이번주 일요일까지 진행되는 이형구 개인전을 통해 이형구 작가의 작품 세계 전반을 관통하는 몸의 주요한 의미를 함께 되짚어보는 색다른 전시 나들이는 어떨까요?🤗
