사랑에 취해가는 과정을 담은 작품 〈Love Potion〉.

이번 첫 개인전
〈Love is heaven, Love is hell〉에서
감미롭고도 달콤쌉싸름한,
그러면서도 우리를 나른하게 도취시키는
‘사랑’을 닮은 와인 Collefrisio Appassimento와
콜라보레이션을 진행했습니다.

제 그림에서 느껴지는 감정을
맛으로도 전하고 싶었습니다.
그리고 그 감정과 맛을
영상으로 그려내어 보았습니다.

내가 태어나고 자라온 한국의 문화와 인도의 문화적 다양성을 접해본 경험들은 내가 생각해온 고정관념이나 관습을 깨고 진정으로 내가 원하는 것이 무엇인지, 진짜 내가 누구인지 더 깊게 생각하게 만들었다.
때로는 내 경험과 사유가 혼합되어 새로운 것이 창조되기도 하고, 때로는 내가 타고난 문화적 유산이 나를 더 유니크하게 만들어주기도 한다.

하지만 가장 중요한 것은 진정한 ‘나’를 만나는 것이다.

나는 당신에게 물음을 던진다.
당신은 당신이 누군지 아는가?

그리고 나는 말 할 수 있다.
당신은 당신이 누군지 알고 있다.

The culture of Korea where I was born and raised and experiences of cultural diversity in India have broken the stereotypes or customs I've been thinking about and made me think more deeply about what I really want and who I really am.
Sometimes my experiences and thoughts mix together to create something new, and sometimes my natural cultural heritage makes me more unique.

But the most important thing is to meet the true 'me'.

I ask you a question.
You know who you are?

And I can speak.
You know who you are.

내가 태어나고 자라온 한국의 문화와 인도의 문화적 다양성을 접해본 경험들은 내가 생각해온 고정관념이나 관습을 깨고 진정으로 내가 원하는 것이 무엇인지, 진짜 내가 누구인지 더 깊게 생각하게 만들었다.
때로는 내 경험과 사유가 혼합되어 새로운 것이 창조되기도 하고, 때로는 내가 타고난 문화적 유산이 나를 더 유니크하게 만들어주기도 한다.

하지만 가장 중요한 것은 진정한 ‘나’를 만나는 것이다.

세상에 공존하는 수많은 문화와 관념과 규범들의 경계를 허물고 진정한 당신을 발견하라.
다른 사람들이 만들어내는 펜듈럼 속에 당신을 맡기지 말고 마음의 눈을 뜨고 내면의 소리를 관측하라.

환경과 예술의 결합 '제 1회 그린캔버스 그룹 전'

패션을 시작으로 아트디렉터, 예술작가, 포토그래퍼, 디자이너 등 다양한 분야에서 활동하는 아티스트 6인이 함께 하는 업사이클링 아트 전이 시작됩니다.
작가들은 ‘재활용’에 주목했습니다. 버려진 쓰레기나 오래된 의류, 원단조각 같은 폐자재로 업싸이클링을 통한 창작 작품들이 탄생됩니다.
지구 환경의 날보다 4월에 먼저 만나는 그린캔버스전은 재활용된 재료로 만든 작품들로 환경 보호에 기여하고자 하는 마음에서 시작된 색다른 전시입니다.
새로운 탄생의 시간 속으로 초대합니다.

Combination of environment and art '1st Green Canvas Group Exhibition'

Starting with fashion, an upcycling art exhibition will begin with six artists working in various fields, including art directors, artists, photographers, and designers.
They paid attention to recycling. Creative works are created through upcycling with waste materials such as discarded garbage, old clothes, and pieces of fabric.
The Green Canvas Exhibition, which meets in April before Global Environment Day, is a unique exhibition that began with the desire to contribute to environmental protection with works made from recycled materials.
