회화적 상상과 시각적 쾌감을 조명하는 윤상윤의 개인전 《거의 아무것도 아닌 날들》이 5월 8일부터 30일까지 옵스큐라 양재에서 열린다. 그의 회화는 거대한 서사나 극적인 사건을 전면에 내세우기보다, 풍경과 인물, 사물과 빛, 현실과 상상이 맞물리는 사이에서 발생하는 미세한 감각을 붙잡는다. 《거의 아무것도 아닌 날들》은 아무 일도 아닌 듯 지나가는 일상의 순간들이 어떻게 낯선 감각으로 드러나고 회화 안에서 하나의 장면으로 남는지를 보여준다.
Sangyoon Yoon’s solo exhibition Days of Almost Nothing, which brings into focus the artist’s painterly imagination and visual resonance, will be held at Obscura Yangjae from May 8 to May 30. The exhibition presents twenty new works by the artist. Rather than foregrounding grand narratives or dramatic events, Sangyoon Yoon’s paintings attend to the subtle sensations that arise in the interval where landscape and figure, object and light, reality and imagination meet. Days of Almost Nothing explores how the ordinary moments of everyday life, passing as if nothing has happened, reveal themselves as unfamiliar sensations and remain within painting as singular scenes.
