Hello everyone! I know it's been a while I last shared a drawing and I thank all my friends for sticking around. I've been working through some big life transitions. In a few days I'll be moving back to the states and I'm really excited about it. But I've also been experimenting with procreate and here's the result 😅
I'm pretty sure its obvious but I was influenced by a famous historical art piece known as "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa" by Katsushika Hokusai. I've always wanted to try and incorporate it somehow into how I draw water.
Aside from honoring Hokusai's wave I wanted to redesign one of my older characters to fit into the old west theme I'm trying to make. I don't really want to emphasis names so much as I tend to change them often but for the sake of organization we can call her Hummingbird the Archer 😀
I would love to know what you guys think of this but also...if you have any procreate tips or brushes you'd like to share I am open to learning 😁

Here is a drawing of one of my characters, Melody the gunslinger. I had fun drawing this and I would love to know what my friends think. Also I'm trying to give my art style more of an American Old West vibe so...if you have any recomendations for any books, comics, or movies I could get into...I would be very interested in trying them out 😀

Here is a drawing of one of my original characters, Echo. I changed his outfit up a bit. I know he looks a little tacky but...he just can't afford nice patchless clothes 🥺 ...anyway I've been a little shy when it comes to shading so I've been practicing and here is the result. I'm actually really happy with how it came out and this surprisingly didn't take me a super long time. I'd love to know what people think of this one. Should I keep going in this direction? 🤔

Hello friends! Here is another six fanart drawing. I started this right after I finished my first one...fight before my super long drawing hiatus. Aside from getting to draw some new characters I got to practice some new drawing techniques...perspective and motion. Drawing fanart is really good for practicing. Also got to learn about a new anime. Youjo Senki was pretty cool. Thank you all who made recommendations. Who's your favorite? 😀 If there's anyone else you'd like to see me draw let me know...I'm open to suggestions. I'll try to do it before the end of the year 😂

I'm happy to share with you a completed series of drawings for my dear friend Maria aka "Ice Witch with a Bow and Arrow" drawing prompt. Not only is she a great artist and friend...she's from the magical land of Canada where you can drink milk from bags and say "eh" after you finish a sentence...eh 😎
I used to draw her in different styles so I was hoping for the day she'd have a drawing challenge so that I could try this. The first drawing is of course my own style, the second is Matt Groenig's Simpsons style, the third is Tim Burton's style, the fourth is Lauren Faust's My Little Pony style, the fifth is Hirohiko Araki's Jojo style, and finally we have the original from Maria.
In case you're a Jojo fan and you're wondering about the Jojo drawing. The Ice Witch's stand is called Ice Cube or if you were to say it in Jojonese..."AISUKYUBU!!!". She has a special ability where she shoots you with an ice arrow...you have to pull it out quickly or else you'll kill yourself. This ability is called "Check Yourself Before You Wreck Yourself". Anyway...had lots of fun with this and I'm proud of the result. Hope you have a "Good Day" 😉 Which one is your favorite?

Here's a birthday I did for someone who loves Marvel movies. I got their favorite characters to wish them a happy 😀 I took some liberties with the costume designs so don't be mad if you realize that they're not exactly what you were expecting from the movies 😂

This is the final part. Hope you enjoyed it 😅 Going throglugh my old work really makes me laugh nowadays. It's like it was written by a different person so I don't usually expect what happens. But it also motivates me to preserve my work. I can just image the laughs I'll get from my decade older self.
Anyway I haven't drawn anything new for a while...been making some lifestyle changes that have left me quite exhausted. But I'm slowly getting back on my grind so thank you if you're still sticking around 😀

As some of you may know...I like to try and share an old drawing every month. Usually I cringe at my old drawings...but I'm actually proud of this 😂 Here is part of a comic chapter I did when I was in highschool (which I'm realizing is becoming scaryingly further away). It was called "Firefly" but that's no longer the case. This was from a previous draft so it is...more of a prototype 😅 this is the 1st part of 3. Hope you get a kick out of it.
