Mondays: Straight up play to the 9-ball point scoring league with an added handicap.

Reminder, today is the 8-ball midseason tournament at Remember Bar. Signups are going on now. We start at 3pm so if your running late and still want to play, call or text me and I'll put your name in, 010-2808-0361. 9-ball tournamet tomorrow at Avalon Bar, signups start at 2pm with first break at 3pm. 10,000 won to play in each tournament.

AFPL 9-BALL: We have found a replacement Team for Volume. The team is Freezone. The information is updated for the Captains info. Please coordinate any makeup games with the new captain.

For week 3, averages will go into effect. Please start using them. If by some chance you are playing against a team who does not have any averages established then simply put in your team average but do not figure out the handicap. I will figure that out after the team has played at least two game nights.

AFPL 8-Ball: 8-ball is off to a great start with not a single makeup game or forfeit. Maximum attendance at the Captains Meeting.

Please remember that week 2 of the season may result a situation that will not allow a lot of players to play next week. Start scheduling your makeup games now. Next weekend would be a great time due to the 3 day weekend.

Please review your team roster. Some players were added as new players yet their fees were not paid. Please make sure their fees are paid or you can elect to swap them out for another name that did not play that night. If the original player comes back later then new fees will need to be paid. Drop me an email with what you intend to do.

League Coins were delivered to the Thursday teams. I still need to deliver coins to the Tuesday teams.

Steve Herzog AKA Dirty Dawg has accepted to be Deputy for Tuesday night league matches. He will answer any 8-ball related questions and respond to any issues that come up that night. Please add his phone number to your cellphone contact list (010-2126-7498). His contact information will also be on the 8-ball home page at the top. He is also happy to answer any questions or issues on Thursday night if I am not available. From now on, Steve shall be known as Deputy Dirty Dawg or DDD.

8-Ball Thursday: The first Captain's meeting will be at Centro Bar the tonight for Thursday Teams. Start times for meeting is at 6pm. Please make sure to have a representative for your team there and make sure they sign in.

9-Ball: Season Begins on the 7th of January (Monday). We are starting the season off with 14 teams which will create two divisions. The first Captain's meeting will be at Remember Bar right above Station Bar down Aragon Alley on the 7th of January at 6pm. Please make sure to have a representative for your team there and make sure they sign in.

8-Ball: Season Begins on the 8th of January (Tuesday) for Tuesday night teams and the 10th of January (Thursday) for Thursday night teams. We are starting the season off with 20 teams which will create three divisions. The first Captain's meeting will be at MJ's Bar down Aragon Alley on the 8th for Tuesday teams and at Centro Bar the 10th for Thursday Teams. Start times for all meetings is at 6pm. Please make sure to have a representative for your team there and make sure they sign in.

Our division Seeding will be done this Thursday at 6pm at JJ's Cantina. We will be drawing for Monday 9-Ball with Tuesday and Thursday 8-ball soon afterward. You are all welcomed to attend the meeting but it is not mandatory. Simply having a few beers and pulling a few chips. You may decide the fate of your team by pulling the seeding chip for them.

8-Ball: For you Billiard Monsters out there looking for more league play, we now offer Tuesday night League. Get with your friends and favorite bar and get a team in. Registration ends this Monday but we are willing to extend if you message me that you are working on a team.

LET THE WEEKEND BEGIN: Reminder about the 8-ball tournament for the league at Element bar across the street from Paradise. Signups start at 12 noon till 1:30 with first break at 2pm. Food, drinks and fun. Giving away a few sticks and door prizes. You must bring your league coin to sign up or partake in any of the events.

Please remind your team mates about the End of Season Party at Element this Saturday. Signups for tournament start at 12noon till 1:30pm with first break at 2pm. We will be giving away some billiard sticks, food, and drinks, along with a few walk in giveaways. Remember to bring your league coin to participate at the event. If you lost your coin, you can purchase a new one at JJ's Cantina.

8-Ball: The PLAYOFF week will be played from Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, December 10th through the 13th. Every day except Wednesday. The playoffs are updated with the home and away teams. The Link is right in the middle of the page. All games are a race to 7. Once done, you still have to turn in the score sheet but also make sure to drop me a text with who won (010-2808-0361). This will help so I can update the website as soon as possible. If you didn't make the playoffs, then go out and support your favorite team.

Two teams are currently tied for 6th and 7th Spot (LazyDaze1 and Whisky1). They will have to pick their best player from their team to play the best player from the other team. They will play best 2 out of 3 games. The winner will move up in seed to the 6th Spot. They must play this match any time this weekend proir to Monday. At this time, any of these two teams can simply choose to email me and let me know that they will forfiet the spot to the opposing team and will simply take the 7th spot instead of having to do a match. You can also text me with the results.

For teams that won their Divisions, please get your team pictures to me as soon as possible so that I can get started on your plaques. EMAIL THEM TO ME. Also teams that did not win division but have a good chance at placing 1st-5th, get your team picture taken for plaques as well.

We discussed paying out Cash to the winning teams for the playoffs instead of individual trophies. We will let the teams make the call on Thursday night what they want. 1st place team would get $200, 2nd place is $110, and 3rd place is $60. The payout is per team not per individual. The whole team has to agree to what they want. It cannot be a partial payout and partial trophies.

The End of the Season Party will be on the 15th of December at Element with registration for the tournament starting at 12 noon till 1:30 with first break at 2pm. You must bring this season League Coin to sign up and participate in any of the league events. If you lost your league coin, you can swing by JJ's Cantina and purchase a new one for $5.

All registration sheets for the next season are due on the 24th of December. This is for Tuesday, Thursday night 8-ball and Monday night 9-ball handicap league. The 9-ball only requires 4 players per team. If you love billiards then you love this. You can review the Rules of Play and Bylaws on the AFPL website. Although I have dropped off registration sheets at most bars, you can pick some up at JJ�s cantina or fill out the ones on the website and print them out.

9 Ball Season Ending Notes:
Registration is underway for next season. All registration sheets are due at JJ's Cantina by 24 December. The new season begins on the 7th of January which is the date of our first Captain's Meeting.
