Professional sterilization process
Disposable files, dust brushes, and orange wood sticks are single-use items and are not sterilized — they are replaced after each client.
Only reusable metal tools go through the sterilization process.
1. Prepare the pre-sterilization cleaning solution
2. Place instruments in the ultrasonic cleaner for 15 minutes
3. Rinse thoroughly after cleaning
4. Leave instruments to dry overnight
5. Seal in sterilization pouches and process in dry heat sterilizer
🚩UV sterilizers are not designed for instrument sterilization.
Only for storing already sterilized tools (when sterile pouches are not used).
Dry heat sterilization requires validated equipment with controlled temperature and exposure time to achieve proper sterilization.
Small household “oven-style” devices and low-cost dry heat units without verified sterilization performance are not considered professional sterilization equipment.
