𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗗𝗖𝗪 𝗙𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻
두산 큐레이터 워크숍(DCW)은 두번째 아시아—태평양 지역 필드트립을 다녀왔습니다. DCW 2026 참여자 박세진, 박유준(박세희), 오현경은 슈퍼바이저 최빛나, 두산아트센터의 유진영, 전지희와 함께 타이완 타이베이에 3박 4일간 머무르며 바다, 역사, 제도라는 키워드를 통하여 타이완을 기반으로 하는 작가, 큐레이터, 연구자들과 대화를 나누었습니다. 그 과정에서 이전에는 알지 못했던 무수히 많은 존재의 ‘이름’을 배웠습니다. 돌아온 뒤에는 필드트립 공유회 〈이름을 알게 되는 일〉를 통해 새롭게 알게 된 이름과 생각을 나누는 자리를 마련하였습니다.
DCW embarked on its second field trip to the Asia-Pacific region. 2026 DCW participants—Park Sejin, Park Yujun (Park Sehee), Oh Hyun Kyung—traveled to Taipei, Taiwan, for four days, accompanied by supervisor Binna Choi, Jinyoung You and Jihee Jun from DOOSAN Art Center. During their time, they met with artists, curators, and researchers based in Taiwan, engaging in conversations around the sea, history, and institutions. Following the trip, they held a DCW Public Seminar 𝘎𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘒𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘕𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘴, where they shared the names and ideas they had newly encountered.

“As my encounters with fellow DCW alumini accumulate throughout the year, I find my eyes and mind opening toward new subjects. Where might the faces and names I encountered in Taiwan take me—and us—next? I find myself caught between anticipation and contemplation.”

바다를 건너 알게 된 낯선 이름들이, 돌아오는 길에는 내가 떠나온 섬을 새롭게 부르는 이름이 되어 있었다.
“The unfamiliar names I learned across the sea became, on my way back, new names for the island I had left.”
