패션과 현대예술의 경계를 넘나들며 ‘유니폼’이라는 사회적 구조를 재해석한 전시 《uni form: Broken Twill》이 지난 8월 서울 토탈미술관을 시작으로, 현재 베를린에서 새로운 에디션을 선보이고 있습니다.
베를린 전시는 서울에서 출발한 철학과 구조를 이어가면서도, 물리적 전시의 확장을 넘어 디지털 트랜스포메이션을 본격적으로 실험한 버전이라는 점에서 의미가 큽니다. 기획자, 디자이너, 연구자, 미디어 전문가로 구성된 코어 그룹이 참여해 새로운 전시 모델을 제안했고, 이를 기반으로 앞으로 더 많은 도시와 다양한 예술가·연구자와의 협업으로 확장될 국제적 순환 플랫폼으로 발전해 나갈 예정입니다.

Crossing the boundaries between fashion and contemporary art, 《uni form: Broken Twill》 reinterprets the social structure of the “uniform.” After its first presentation at Total Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul last August, the exhibition is now being showcased in Berlin with a newly expanded edition.
The Berlin edition carries forward the philosophy and structure of the Seoul exhibition, while taking a significant step toward a digital transformation, moving beyond the limits of a purely physical presentation. A core group of curators, designers, researchers, and media specialists collaborated to propose a new model for exhibition-making—one that will continue to evolve into an international, circulatory platform that connects multiple cities and invites collaboration with a wide range of artists and researchers.
