‘이아’의 의미

‘이아’는 조선시대 찰미헌 관아가 있었던 자리로, 이후 자혜의원과 제주대학교 병원을 거쳐 현재의 예술공간으로 새롭게 탈바꿈하였습니다. 이곳은 예술가와 지역 주민이 소통하는 공간으로, 원도심 문화시대를 여는 허브 역할을 하고 있습니다.
