If BTS chose not to submit their music under a separate category, it reflects a belief that music should never be divided by language or origin. For artists who have spent years breaking barriers and proving that music connects hearts beyond borders, equality means standing on the same stage—not in a separate lane.
This is not about rejecting the Grammys or diminishing the achievements of other artists. It is about standing by a principle: true recognition comes when talent is evaluated without labels that separate people because of where they come from or the language they speak.
Awards can celebrate excellence, but they do not define it. BTS have already built a legacy through their music, their sincerity, and the millions of lives they have touched around the world. That legacy exists far beyond any trophy.
Sometimes, the greatest act of courage is choosing dignity over validation. And history has a way of remembering those who stood for fairness, even when the easier path was simply to accept what was offered.

කුසලානක් කෙනෙකුගේ වටිනාකම තීරණය කරන්නේ නැහැ. BTS දැනටමත් ලොව පුරා මිලියන ගණනකගේ ජීවිත වෙනස් කළ සංගීතයක් සහ උරුමයක් ගොඩනඟා තිබෙනවා. එවැනි උරුමයක් කිසිදු සම්මානයකට වඩා විශාලයි.
සමහර විට ඉතිහාසය මතක තබාගන්නේ සම්මාන දිනාගත් අය පමණක් නොව, සාධාරණත්වය වෙනුවෙන් ගෞරවයෙන් සහ ධෛර්යයෙන් නැගී සිටි අයයි.
