오버랩의 광주 작가들과 필리핀 바콜로드 작가들의 '공동창제작' 레지던시가 벌써 10회를 맞이했습니다.
교류 12년, 레지던시 10년의 특별한 해를 LMCF 초청으로 한달간 바콜로드에 체류중인데요.
특별한 기회인만큼 내년까지 이어지는 Cycle010의 첫 단추로 느슨한 리서치 과정에 대한 아티스트 토크를 진행합니다.
서영기, 정덕용, 미키보이, 빈센트의 경험과 소통으로 시작한 영감이 어떤 상호작용이 될지 기대됩니다.

This residency program is concluding with an artist talk. We hope can join us! 🎨✨

Mikiboy Pama, Vincent Sarnate, Deokyong Jeong, and Younggi Seo will share insights and stories gained through weeks of exploration and community engagement.

🇰🇷 🇵🇭 Mikiboy, Vincent, Deokyong, and Younggi, have been working together as a four-artist collective in the first phase of this residency project—which continues into next year. Their time in Bacolod has been shaped by shared studio visits, ongoing conversations with local artists, and their recent participation in VIVA ExCon 2025.

As a culmination of this residency program, there will be a collaboration exhibition by these four artists, and a forum for the presentation of the research results, in Gwangju, South Korea.

2025년, 멘붕으로 시작해 감동으로 마무리되는 특별한 해로 기억될것 같습니다. 공모에 떨어질 수 있음을 확인하며 좌절에 휩싸이기도 했지만, 할 수 있는 최소한에 집중해왔습니다.
교류12년, 공동창제작 10년이 되는 해지만 아쉽게도 필리핀과의 교류 역시 한 해 쉬어가고자 했습니다.
그.러.나!!! 10년이 넘은 교류를 쉬어갈 수 없다며 LM재단(MR. Ben & Charlie)이 초대를 해주어 지속할 수 있게 되었답니다. 눈물 핑 도는 감격을 안고 오늘 필리핀 바콜로드로 떠납니다. 🥹
귀한 기회인만큼 리프레시 휴가로, 느슨한 리서치 프로그램을 진행하고 원기회복해 잘 돌아오겠습니다.
오버랩은 한달간 바콜로드에 있습니다. 🤗

I think 2025 will be remembered as a special year that begins with a mental breakdown and ends with emotion. I was frustrated at the confirmation that I could fail the competition, but I only focused on minimal effort.
Unfortunately, it will be the 12th year of exchanges with the Philippines and the 10th year of cooperation, but we had to take a year off.
The LM Foundation (Ben & Charlie) invited us to continue our relationship, saying that we can't take a break for the past 10 years. I am leaving for Bacolod in the Philippines today, full of emotions and excitement. 🥹
As it is a valuable opportunity, we will proceed with a loose research program and rejuvenate through a recharge vacation.
The OverLab. is in Bacolod for a month. 🤗
