Lej EcoArt Project's mission is to increase public awareness and education surrounding our ecosystems in order to drive solutions toward sustainable progress, using art and culture to gravitate people together.
Art is my life, my passion my escape from the horrors of society. Art has opened up many windows of the universe and brought me closer to the beauty of natural where I have discovered endless possibilities of the many mystics that lie within this vast space and time which we call reality. A mere cosmic illusion.
I am a young Entrepreneur, Visual Artist and Philanthropist who is very passionate about helping others, plants and animals for I my belief is that we are here for each other and it makes me very happy when others around me are happy and will become sad if others are sad around me. As I grow older I observe the direction the world is heading with optimism I have commitment to be the change I want to see in the world.
This platform is designed to merge everything that is Ecological which is a whole different world from what we are used to and put it in one place so that you my beautiful views may find everything that you need. Artist Lisa Léj, is a vivacious, intellectually flushed, and studious young lady who takes pleasure in: nature, art in all its forms, service, sports and generally being active, positively. Art is her passion, her life style and her identity. She considers herself, her body, to be a magnificent work of art, her mind to be a spectacular realm of vast artistry and her spirit to be that portal via which the beauty within her realm is transmitted to the physical form enabling others to experience the by product of her imagination. She indulges in various types of art (designing, make-up art, creative writing, etc) but majors in painting, Imaginative Composition. She does various styles as a mean of exploration and finding her trait, such as: Landscape, Portrait, Still Life and custom-made pieces. Imaginative Composition is her preference for she believes that being given the knack of replicating and manipulating the mind and things around us, using various media to put them down canvas, paper, wall, monitor, etc is tremendous and should not be limited to what is already of existence. In other words, why paint a red Rose red? It is already red. Do something eccentric. Paint it bronze, defy nature, think ‘mystical’ and do some thing that has never been done, that nature was not programmed to execute. Live your dream and or live a dream. Her motto is ‘Unveiling the artistry of the mind to the vision of the blind.’ It means that through visual art the creativity of the imagination can be put to understanding of others who are
non-artistic.
She indulges in other activities and organizations, such as: modeling, Kung Fu, Tennis, Art Walk. Several of which that are prominent in her life are:
Tennis- Being a tennis player, she plays at the intermediate level. She loves the sport deeply and the togetherness of the community. She had received a runner up trophy in a local tournament in 2011 at the ‘Easter Spectacular’, Hilton Rose Hall. She has been playing for approximately 6 years and will continue and hope that one day she will accomplish something great out of it.
Kiwanis Club of Montego Bay, Jamaica- She believes in altruistic service and that this world “gravely” (with emphasis on gravely) needs to exercise it. That’s majorly what she stands for as Kiwanian.
Art Walk- An annual festival that showcases a high quality eclectic collection of modern art. Its début was on the 31st of March to the 1st of April 2012 and was Lisa’s first art festival. It is an event that aims at promoting the appreciation and growth of art within Montego Bay, St. James, Jamaica, W.I.
Lisa Lej has also made donations to various charity fundraising organisations, associations and other companies, some of which includes: Kiwanis Club of Montego Bay, Tryall Fund- Taste of Tryall, Cinammon Hill Golf Club, Montego Bay Yacht Club and Iberostar Hotel.
