As we near the end of rainy season the rice fields and villages are looking particularly lush and will remain so for the remainder of the year... the most beautiful time of year to visit Cambodia and the weather is nice and cool also.

The team behind our amazing dishes at both Treeline Urban Resort and Romiet Restaurant & Bar . We cannot say enough about them... brilliant, talented, hard working, open, detail orientated, motivated, willing to give everything a go, they love a challenge and love creating food our guests love, nothing makes them happier and we are soooo proud. These guys make everything from scratch from our breads and pastries to our dried fruits and mueslis to our yoghurt, mayos, peanut butter and even plant based meats! They are kitchen rockstars!

Charles Eames once said “The details are not the details. They make the design”. We can’t help but agree and that’s why every effort is put to ensure every detail at Treeline has been considered. This architectural detail is in the canopy inspired shades that greet you as you enter our lobby and two riverside facing restaurants Romiet Restaurant & Bar and BROWN Coffee and Bakery.

For the second year running we are so incredibly proud to receive this recognition from Guide as a recommended hotel in Siem Reap. One of only twelve, our locally owned, designed and run hotel is sitting amongst the 5 star international brands such as Aman, Raffles, Hyatt, Zannier and FCC. This is something we are incredibly proud of and that makes the last 8 years hard work in the most trying of circumstances all worthwhile. What has put us here is our team, we may not have the a international group brand backing or big marketing budgets to compete on the global stage, but what we have is heart, an incredible team and complete commitment to strive everyday to do our best to make sure our guests feel at home, cared for and experience the very best of the country we love.

Our local Pagoda Wat Bo, is just down the road from us. Built in the 18th century it is one of the oldest Pagoda's and monasteries in Siem Reap.

Today is the first day of the Pchum Ben holidays, a time for Cambodians to honour their ancestors and loved ones by visiting Pagodas and offering food and prays for them. We wanted to take the time to send warm wishes to everyone during this special time. We hope you enjoy spending time with your loved ones and honouring those that have past at pagodas. 🙏
