ភាពគួរឱ្យចូលចិត្ត (Likability) គឺជាអំណាចទន់ (Soft Power) របស់ប្រទេស ឬបុគ្គលម្នាក់ៗ។ បន្ទាប់ពីសង្គ្រាមឈ្លានពាន និងសកម្មភាពទន្ទ្រានចុងក្រោយបំផុតរបស់ប្រទេសថៃមកលើកម្ពុជា ភាពគួរឱ្យចូលចិត្តរបស់ប្រទេសថៃបានធ្លាក់ចុះដល់កម្រិតទាបបំផុតជាប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ។ ដើម្បីស្តារភាពគួរឱ្យចូលចិត្តរបស់ខ្លួនឡើងវិញ ប្រទេសថៃត្រូវតែផ្លាស់ប្តូរទិសដៅ/គន្លងរបស់ខ្លួន។

​លើសពីនេះទៅទៀត "ច្បាប់នៃរណ្តៅ" (Law of Holes) បានពោលថា "ប្រសិនបើអ្នកស្ថិតក្នុងរណ្តៅ ចូរឈប់ជីកវាទៀត"។ ប្រទេសថៃកំពុងស្ថិតក្នុងរណ្តៅជាច្រើនដែលខ្លួនបានជីក ទាំងក្នុងន័យធៀប ទាំងក្នុងន័យត្រង់។ វាដល់ពេលហើយដែលប្រទេសថៃត្រូវតែឈប់ជីករណ្តៅបន្តទៀត៕

Likability is a country or person's soft power. After Thailand's most recent wars of aggression against and acts of encroachment of Cambodia, Thailand's likability has dropped to a record low. To restore its likability, Thailand must change course.

Furthermore, the "Law of Holes" says "If you find yourself in a hole, stop digging". Thailand is in holes it has dug metaphorically and literally. It is high time it stopped digging.
